Well having returned from holiday I apologise for not having given a report of our June Meeting.  Our Member Sue Jackson had the privilege to have spoken with The Countess of Wessex at the Royal Garden Party and we both had a lovely day making new friends and meeting other Members of the WIs.


Our Meeting was a great deal of fun with Members trying their hand at spinning with a drop spindle made from 'a stick, a potato and a piece of string'.


Today we have had our outing to Felley Priory on a lovely sunny day.  The gardens were absolutely beautiful, please visit our gallery for a slideshow. The cakes and teas were just as wonderful!


Now I have to prepare for our next meeting on Thursday of next week when we will welcome Lorna Weir for an evening entitled 'Spell Well'.
