Our outing to Brodworth Hall was a good day out and the following month we were transported to India by Jane and Joan to experience life on a children’s hospital ward. The Group Meeting provided a different aspect on flower arranging; this was then followed by our birthday party at The Plough. I have already mentioned November and we ended the year with Group Carols at Laxton Church.
The vote for President ended with me serving for another year and the Committee remained the same with the welcome addition of Jennie Cheyney. Committee Members are: Susan Martin, Julia Smith, Janet Carlisle, Sandra Taylor, Sheila Francis, Susan Parman, Joan Bower, Lydia Anderson and Jennie Cheyney. The competition for the year was won by Sheila Francis.
Correspondence notified us of the AGM of Notts Federation in March with the main speaker being Ruth Goodman, recently seen on TV building a castle in France. The programmes for 2015 were handed out. See below for details.
